What is a roof inspection?
A roof inspection is not just a quick glance and a thumb's up of approval. A Plus Roofing will take a close, thorough look at the roof's integrity and health. We'll look at every facet, including:
|
- Shape of gutters, downspouts and drains
- Mounting of HVAC units
- And more
|
What all is involved in a roof inspection?
One of our roofing inspectors will go on the roof, and locate the various gutters, flashing points, mounted HVAC units, etc. to see if they are holding up, or need repaired or remedial work. The inspector will also take a close, careful look at the roofing surface material, and also investigate the fasteners, roof braces, support materials and more. Essentially, every aspect of the roof will be looked at with a discerning eye.
Why should I get my roof inspected?
If you're planning on selling your commercial property, having the roof inspected could be a big boost in how quickly it's bought. The biggest and best reason is safety. You might think the roof is in fine shape, but without an expert looking at it, you can never know for certain. A roof inspection can help avert future, expensive repair costs, or the expense that comes with having a new roof installed.
What types of roofs do you inspect?
A-Plus Roofing inspects mainly commercial, flat roofs in the Twin Cities metro. We do not offer residential roofing inspections. Types of roofing materials we've inspected include:
|
- TPO Roofing
- Hypalon Roofs
- And Many More!
|
How long does a roofing inspection take?
Depending on the size of the roof, the inspection can take 45 minutes to several hours. Other factors that determine the inspection's length are the materials and construction complexity.
